The Complete Revenue Recovery Checklist for Service Businesses
Twelve checks every service business should run on itself once a quarter. If you can't answer "yes" to all of them, you're leaking — and we can quantify it.
Twelve checks every service business should run on itself once a quarter. If you can't answer "yes" to all of them, you're leaking — and we can quantify it.
Use this list once a quarter. If you can't honestly answer "yes" to every line, that's a leak — and the dollar value is usually larger than you think.
Lead capture
☐ Every page on my site has a clear, single call-to-action above the fold.
☐ My booking flow is ≤ 3 steps and works on a phone in under 60 seconds.
☐ I have a missed-call SMS auto-reply on every business line.
Follow-up
☐ A new lead is contacted (call or SMS) within 5 minutes during business hours.
☐ Every lead that doesn't book gets at least 3 follow-up touches over 14 days.
☐ Past customers receive a reactivation message every 90 days.
Reputation
☐ Every customer is asked for a review the day after service.
☐ My Google Business Profile is claimed, complete, and posts updated in the last 30 days.
☐ Negative reviews are responded to within 24 hours.
Measurement
☐ I know my cost per lead by source, this month.
☐ I know my close rate by source, this quarter.
☐ I know my customer LTV, with a number attached, not a feeling.
If three or more of these are "no", the Signal Report will quantify what each one is costing you. Most owners over-estimate ad-spend leaks and dramatically under-estimate operational ones — the checklist is designed to surface that asymmetry.
The Signal Report runs every check we mention here — with a dollar figure attached.
